What kit should I wear?

 

A good pair of trail shoes with comfortable clothes.

We also suggest you bring Rain jacket in case of rainy day.

 

Do I need to carry all equipment with me?

We recommend that you carry a small bag pack with you containing essentials such as a water bottle, first aid kit, spare pairs of socks and any energy gels or isotonic drinks you might want. 

 

How much is the registration fee?

 

Category 60km – RM250, 30km – RM200

 

What do we get from our registration fee?

 

• Runner bib

• Free Entrance to Taman Negara (National Park)

• Permit for camping (own tent) in Taman Negara (National Park)

• 2 dinner, 1 lunch, 2 breakfast 

• Finisher Tee

• Finisher Medal

 

 

How to get there?

 

The Start venue – Merapoh is 242km from Kuala Lumpur, about 5 hour drive by car.

You can drive or use public transport, there are bus services from Kuala Lumpur – Merapoh – Gua Musang.

 

Is there any shuttle bus/chartered bus service provided?

 

We provide shuttle bus/chartered bus from Putrajaya Sentral to Merapoh add additional cost of RM100 (USD30). You may book this service when register for the race.

Where do we sleep?

 

We are promoting camping style race at TMMT.

We provides camp site in Taman Negara and you may bring your own tent. If you don’t have a tent, you can rent from the organizer for RM60 (two people).

All the basic facilities such as toilet, shower, surau, dining hall are provided at camp site.

Merapoh is located at rural area, the nearest Hotels are at the next town – Gua Musang located 25km away (30 mins by car/taxi).

If I cancel, can I get a refund?

 

We don’t have refund policy, but you can transfer your registration to other runners. Please inform us at least 3 weeks from the race date.

 

Can i bring a support crew?

 

Yes, you may bring your support crew. The more the merrier, but supporter cannot take part running the race.

 

We also provide package for your supporter at RM150/pax, which also entitled them to:-

·         Free Entrance to Taman Negara (National Park),

·         Permit for camping (own tent) in Taman Negara (National Park)

·         2 dinner, 1 lunch, 2 breakfast

Is there an age limit?

 

Participants must be aged 18 years or above by the start of the event to be allowed to enter TMMT.

 

Will there be rest stops along the route?

 

We have 5 Aid Stations for 60km and 3 Aid Stations for 30km. Distance about 10km from each other, details of the CPs and Aid Station will be will be communicated closer to the event date.

 

What happens if I have to retire from the event en-route (DNF)?

 

If for some reason you can’t complete the challenge you will be provided with an event control number, which you must call and inform us you are pulling out of the event.

 

If it is a medical emergency then we will arrange an evacuation for you.
